Ecola State Park, Crescent Beach, a good place to land when the tide is out. The trail back to launch is broken down, but still easy to follow. Geoffrey Skelton, shown here on his first flight soared for a long time then top-landed, and flew a couple of more times. We were able to get to about 700' ASL on this part of the flight. The launch is 170' ASL, over there on the green hill. The wind was light west for our first flights and later it went to southwest 10, the ideal conditions for this site.
