On my second flight the wind was still from the west but strong enough to get lift to 600 feet, so I cut across the parking area to try for Indian Beach. This view is looking down on the picnic area, with the dirt launch area that faces west (hasn't been tested by bagwings yet). There was no hint of turbulence in the crossing.
