Bird Point is just to the right, off camera, in this view taken from 1100'. In the distance is the former lighthouse that we can see when flying Tillamook Head from the Seaside launch on the north. More to the north is Tillamook Head proper, as marked on maps. There is a two-mile long northwest facing cliff that probably would not be good to try on a southwest wind day: sink to a no exit beach. If a pilot got very high here, say 2500', then maybe a trip could be taken over the summit to the beach at Seaside. That is an investigation that awaits the intrepid explorers.
