This view, from about 1000' shows part of the cliff that faces southwest where Jacques D.V. hung around for an hour and a half on his first flight from Ecola, getting to 1400'. Nothing but trees cover the summit, but the chances of having to land on top are small, given the amount of lift that comes up the southwest facing cliff. A 6 mile trail goes over the top between Indian Beach and the north side launch.
