Gales Creek

TO LZ (260 ASL)
Take Highway 6 West
Turn left on Gales Creek Rd
Go S approx 4.5 miles, then right on NW Roderick Drive slow keep dust down
1/2 mile to curve, park here.
Primary LZ fields north and south of the road

TO HIKE UP POINT (450 ASL)
Drive another 1.2 miles down Gales Creek
Turn right on Stringtown Road and go about 1 mile.
Turn right on Sylvia (gravel), go about 1/2 mile to the locked gate.

HIKE UP
Follow Sylvia road.
Stay left at first fork.
Stay right at second fork. Nordgren rd
Go right when you come out of the trees at the ridge summit. (1560 ASL)
It's about 1/4 mile downhill to launch. (1410 ASL)

(In total the hike is about 2 miles with 1100' climb)
