Triangulation Peak

Photo of Triangulation Point, a site pioneered by Kevin Bennett, in the middle of the Coast Range northeast of Sollie, accessed off Highway 6 via Cedar Butte Road. This shows the summit launch area. Site takes a west or maybe a northwest wind. If you are quick you can top land at the saddle or along the old road. If you miss and begin to sink, there is a cleared area out in front of launch about a mile. Be aware of rotor action, as it is tucked around the corner, not in the main air stream coming up the valley. Steve Forslund went SW and landed near Jordon Creek on highway 6.
